I have not yet checked the full kms on this ride, but 100 kms is not very far, But I am sure it is a small tank and you should be able to fill and catch up very quickly. Due to the large number of riders going, possibly 2-300 or more, stopping will not be an option. The best would be to be at the front and you could probably stop and fill before the rest even got passed by. See me when you arrive and I will make sure you can be near the front. Thanks, JOHN

Looks like we are well over the 100 riders mark, possibly over 150, but we need more!

I totally respect and understand what you mean. I have lost a very close person to me not from ALS but from CHF (Congestive Heart Failure). Some people may say, those are two different things... But this is where people are wrong.... Because both as well as many other things are an illness that sneak up on you, from being the smartest, toughest, most alert to weaker, slower, and some things are just better left unsaid.....

I respect and feel for everyone who has to go through any illness, and I especially feel for close family and friends who have to deal with the inevitable feelings that they (I) have gone through, as everyday life is a challenge of its own, but imagin our every day burdens, amplified by millions knowing that the one close to us may be on their final moments... having to stare at their chest to see if they are breathing... Having to stay up to ensure that they are ok... Even that is just physical feelings... The feelings that really destoy us is our pscychological ones.. They stay and will stay a life time....

Sorry for the deep novel, but especially after just a short few months ago, I truely know how it feels to be close to a person who we can litteraly say today may be their last.... As for me, it was my grandmother who I took care of everyday until it was her last.

I pray the weather will be good on the 8th as I will definalitly be there, given any unfortunate inevitable circumstance...

I will also be spreading the word to as many riders I know.. I will be coming gathering people here at Central Mississauga Square One area and riding down in a group ....See you there bro.
