Looking for other riders for our long-weekend to USA

    Hello,

Three of us have planned a nice 3 day ride for the upcoming long weekend (Saturday July 31 to August 2 inclusive) down to parts of the USA. We are looking to see if there are 2 - 3 others who would be interested in joining us.

We are responsible riders, in our late 30's and early 40's, observing the speed limits (maybe 5-10+ over the posted speed) who want to enjoy the roads and sights we're going to travel through. One Goldwing, one Bandit and one V Star 1100 lined up for the trip. BTW, the Goldwing and V Star riders are male and the Bandit rider is female.

We have planned a nice route and are looking at doing 8 hour days, which include stops for eats, bathroom breaks and photo opportunities.

We are very easy going people and welcome others with interest to join in and have a wonderful time, with the weather cooperating of course.

If interested, please contact me and we can discuss further.

    Thanks,

    Robert

I was just last weekend in USA: down to NYC (one day), two days riding around NYC with friends of mine, than from NYC to around Harrisburg and back home on Sunday. It's hot and nice there!!!

I'd like to come with you, but scheduled a track day in Calabogie for July 31.

    Maybe next time.

No, not IHOP.......Eat n' Park.....cheap n' tasty....That all day breakfast, filled with carbs and protein will tide you over all day! Eat twice a day, the money you save goes towards fuel,so you can ride farther, longer.

I love riding down Stateside,I have ridden many, many roads down there, but

sorry,....but, 8 hours a day riding including stops, pics ect, would make me crazy. As would 5-10 over.

Are you camping or motel-ing it? Be sure to try to stop at a couple of Welcome Centers, they are a wealth of information, with way better maps than CAA. Lots of info on stuff to do, see, roads, routes to ride ect.

    Have fun,all!
