Hey everyone. Looking to get some people together at Toronto Motorsports Park this Friday July 16th for some drag racing. Had a post last week, but due to the weather it was a "no go" If your interested, let me know. $20.00 gets you unlimited passes down the track. Starts at 7pm and end at 11pm. Weather permitting of course. Hope the weather holds out!!!

Im going to try and make it ....
If all goes well with my clutch install today, I will see you there tomorrow.
Do wet clutches require any break in?

If your riding to the track - I think that is all the break in that you will need.... Im trying to make it there also
You riding an Interceptor?
I don't think you can add reaction time to the elapsed time, they are 2 separate times.

A common misconception of newcomers is that the ET (elapsed time) clock begins when the green starting line bulb is lit. This is a false misunderstanding. In fact, there are two separate time recordings taken on the race track: reaction time and elapse time. The reaction time is the time elapsed from the flash of the green bulb to the motion of the vehicle as it completely leaves the starting line beam. If that seemed a bit too much, let me refresh your memory and elaborate further.

Well, I had a blast! I didn't beat my best time from 6 years (and 40,000 KM) ago, but the old VFR ran a 12.152 @ 115.2 with a 2.020 60 foot time.
Post your best run and be HONEST!!

hey i ran u on one pass.had some trouble all night.left with both feet down, hookd good 1.96 but couldnt manage to get my legs back in place to shift.went a 11.4. 11.0 was the best last night.my best 3 weeks ago was a 10.8 at 145 mph.
Was my first time there... my best was 11.016 as well at 140 mph .. my 60 foots were all 2.3 haha because I didn't wanna roast my clutch. Took off like a street start each run, and got slower as the night progressed.. I think the 2 or 3 wheelies on my first pass told me to tone it down a little haha
