Im sure by the day of the ride we will have 30+ confirmed riders .. and if everyone on the list shows up...u think we should devide into 2 or possibly 3 groups?
i think 30+ is a very large and difficult group to manage in my opinion.
and for some fun how about we get our "list numbers' stickered to our bikes? just a crazy idea lol

List #'s lol... If you want to bring the #'s with you then im sure we can stick them on for fun.

As for the the amount of riders, I do agree with you, but I think we should wait until the day of to ensure the head count. We can divide the group upon arrival if there are no shows...

Thats cool.. What I ideally would like is the leader to know *EXACTLY* the route were taking so there are no ""OOPS I FORGOT WHICH WAY IM SUPPOSED TO GO" issue's... I know little mistakes are inevitable, but when you have a lot of riders, it is very inconviencing when having to wait for a large group to turn around. We also want to be safe, so we have to ensure that the leader will respect everyones pace, as well as look for the best interest of all rider's and their safety if in fact the wrong turn is made.

*Example*. - Wrong turn occurres, then quickly tries to turn around - forgetting that there are a large amount of riders that now have to do the same thing, taking traffic into consideration.

Long story short, we need someone who will act as a leader in mentality and responsibility.

As for sweeper, we need someone who will make sure no one is left behind.

I would like to have the last two people in the group setup a simple system.

Last guy will stay with whoever is left behind *ESPECIALLY IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION*

Second last guy would catch up to the leader and inform him of the occurrence. This way someone can be with whoever is stuck and the group is notified.

If I may suggest, I got an awesome route to get to Niagara, have done it a few times on rides I have lead.
