Hi was just wondering what the difference is or what you guys prefer.
Pilot 2CT ($246.9) or Diablo Corsa 3 ($318.90)
Price is for a set before tax from Petes.
Thanks

Between those 2 choices, for streetbike, I would say 100% 2CT. They are fantastic in the rain. The Corsa3's are really really bad in the rain. On the street you need your tires to be versatile.

My last tires were the DCIII's and my current tires are the PP2CT. My general comments:
DCIII's (190/50) - More confidence inspiring at the limit for me. Surprisingly good life. Turn in a touch slow. Quick warm up.
PP2CT (180/55) - Weigh less than the pirellis. Much faster turn in, but Im not sure how much of this is a function of the more triangulated shape or from running a higher sidewall. Quick warm up. I have found break away to be a bit more sudden than the DCIIIs. Wear life unknown at this point.
For the street, I'd go with whatever you get cheaper.
Those are both old and busted. The new hotness are the Michelin Power Pure or the Pirelli Diablo ... Rosso, I think?
1996 Kawasaki ZX11D - "When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me ... but they try."
Yeah, the newest is the Michelin Power Pure...the comparable tire is the Pirelli Diablo Corsa. The Pure's are the newest on the market, are the lightest and supposed to stick like crazy
I've ordered a set of Pure's based on the research I did into tires...can't wait to get 'em on!!! (tomorrow if the weather cooperates...)

I love pilot powers.....and I love the Road 2's
I love the michelin tire profile...so i'd stick to PP2ct's

I have the road2's for street riding.
Honestly; you shouldn't be pushing so hard on the street that you'd need anything more aggressive than the Road 2CT's. They've been simply amazing.
For track however, I cannot comment.
Pilot Power 2CT for the street. Can't beat it.
Yeah I was debating on the Corsas because my jacket has a Corsa emblem on it haha so wanted to match a bit.
But everyone does seem to say PP, and they are cheaper.
I think i'm going to go with the PP so I can go burnout happy (: haha
Look them up for yourself. Figure out what it is you want in your tires and look at what each offers...

I have the pures. very confident inspiring and very light. rain performance is good as well.
nothing to compare it to coming from a 250 (bt-045's). but after 2300km on a new bike, the chicken strips are gone.

I want these parts gone! make me an offer.
please email me directly, I don't check the forums anymore. Thanks!
$50 says you (and 95% of the others here) would NEVER notice a difference between these tires in a blind test.
Save your money, get the 2CT.
ps. Riders Choice has these tires locally for (I think) the same price... not sure why people bother getting tires shipped in when they can get em here for the same $$

I got PP2CT's on my F4i that I just finally put on the street, 2000km ago. Strip is 100% gone on the left side and 1/8 inch or so on right. I think they are fantastic tires. Can't wait to try them on the track.
My 250RR has BT-016, and they are great tires as well. I'd buy either again.

as mentioned the PP's are excellent in the rain . i ride on the reg in the rain and at 150km/h they track w/o any hydro along the 401 np !
I have heard great things about the road2's, however I've switched to the metz a few years ago due to cupping on the michelins on my vfr. Anyone experience cupping on the michelins?
Put me down in the PP2ct camp. Had the 016s. And they were "good". Michelins offer better turn in. Bike feels much better with these tires. Takin her to the track soon to really put em to the test.
P.S. Not available here yet, but there is lots of talk about the new SportSmarts in UK and Europe. Dunlops answer to the Power Pure. Apparently they are a stonkin' road and track tire with excellent wear rates and great wet weather grip.
