HST rebate cheques were supposedly mailed. My money is on that.
EDIT: I also just had a mystery $100 show up from "Electronic Funds Transfer Deposit "

I just checked my TD checking account; and there is an extra $100 in it. I checked my recent transactions, and there is a $100.00 deposit from "Canada Pro"
I generally get a GST rebate directly deposited in that account, but its always an obscure amount, somewhere in the $60-$80 range.
I don't know it has something to do with being a student; or claiming student bursaries this year. I don't know if it's HST related, or something to do with graduating. I'm not sure if it's coming from the Government, or from TD, or from National Student Loans; but I'm suspecting its Government.
I really have no idea who sent it, or why.
Any ideas?
Thanks

$100 - ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
*gasp*
Sweeeeet.
I've got a batch of home brew beer that's almost ready for bottling. I was going to buy the $16 cheap plastic capper, but maybe I'll go for the fancy $33 metal one.
I haven't had beer since I started this crazy diet non-sense. I'm excited to get this batch ready to go.

What f---king joke. HST is going to kill businesses and people’ spending habits. And they only give us $100??
I rather they not give me the money and get rid of the tax.
It’s going to get ugly folks. When I get it, I am going change it to silver like I have been doing the past year and half. Gold and silver baby.
