Noob Ride 5, Niagara- Sat June 19th, Falls Rally

Hello everyone,

I'm planning on doing another noob ride on:

Saturday June 19th, 2pm
meeting at Tim Hortons parking lot on the corner of Appleby/Harvester rd in Burlington (850 Appleby Line)


As with our past noob (new rider) rides, it will be a very slow, easy paced ride. I believe we will go to either Niagara or the Forks of the credit. This will be very different than our usual weekly SOB rides, as it caters to ... what else.. Noobs!

Riders should have an M2 license, and be comfortable on their bikes, having logged at least 1000 kms on their own. You will need to be comfortable going a long distance and understand the rules regarding group riding. There is a sticky on this forum you can read to get acquainted.

The route will take us to Niagara. There is actually a big biker rally planned that weekend in Niagara so it looks to be a lot of fun. Details of the rally are below. there should be a lot going on down there that evening.

We plan to ride for roughly 4 hours and then stop for dinner in Niagara and return on the highway.

If you don't want to attend the dinner, thats fine it is optional.

Just a reminder to join us for the first-ever Niagara Falls Motorcycle Show and Shine as part of the Rally next weekend!

What: Motorcycle Show and Shine
When: Saturday, June 19th
Registration: 5:00 p.m.
Where: Oneida Street, Niagara Falls (Beside Burger King and Dave and Buster's on Clifton Hill)

Registration fee of $5.00 will allow you to park your motorcycle in the show area on Oneida Street (Clifton Hill). Your name will be entered into a draw for door prizes at Dave & Busters after the 'Show'. All types of motorcycles are welcome. This is not a bike specific event. The Miller Chiller girls will judge and choose the Top 3 'Best Looking Bikes' at the Show. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Don't forget to head to Dave & Buster's following the Show and Shine for the first-ever Miller Chill Beer Dance Party at clubDb! You can leave your bike parked at the Show and Shine as part of the Dave & Buster's Party!

And of course, don't forget the parade the very next day. Details:

IMPORTANT: Line up & Registration: 10:00am SHARP! Please be on location at 10:00 to ensure your participation in the Rally.

A $5.00 minimum donation for Women’s Place of South Niagara will be accepted during the registration process.

Well the day is coming close.. so far it seems that there are some thundershowers on the forecast. If there is a high % , the ride will be cancelled.

Currently we have leads and sweeps lined up for 2 full groups. If you don't post up or PM me there is a chance you won't be able to ride (as I will be limiting group sizes for safety reasons) so please make sure to let me know you are coming.
