ramp from 401 east to 427 south

The ramp from 401 east to 427 south has just been scarified this morning, with no effort made to remove the loose stone, whatsoever. It cost me chips to a brand new visor this morning and, given the amount of asphalt chunks I was hit with, I'm lucky that was all.

You won't know about it until you're already half-way around the ramp. It might be worth it to take Renforth and then get back on at Burnhamthorpe for a couple of days, at least.

that ramp always scares me, with the south bound traffic and the right curved road and merging left at high speeds + bumps+ cant really see too far ahead + crazy cabbies around there .....

Agreed. That turn is plain wrong. Two right lanes disappear, merging in traffic to the left and all that in a curve. The pavement used to be really bad too, at least they are taking care of that.

If you take the Renforth exit don't forget that most of the length of it, between the exit and Rathburn, is 40 Kmh because of the schools.

The work is finished and I think that they finally managed to iron out that 3 inch bump in the final third of the ramp.
