Any group plans for when we get there or on our own until the ride back? Wondering if I should map something for me and the other half.
I have a nice route planned for the Sat to Whiteface Mountain and a mountain run thru th NY/Vermont boarder that was recommended to me. I was thinking we could do that as part of our ride as a group.
Oh and weather for Placid is calling for a 50% chance of rain Sunday evening, nothing for Fri or Sat.

looks like a hell of a trip, how long was the ride there?
They say "you dont know what you got tell its gone", thats true, but you also dont know what you were missing until you get it.
Took us about 8-9 hours but that included allot of stops for food, gas, chitchat and scenery.
Pace was always at the legal limit (sometimes slower) and very laid back and leisurely.

What did I learn on this trip? The Adirondacks are beautiful and portion control does not exist south of the border.
To bad my better half isn't ready (yet) for longer trips, like this one. Maybe next time...
