Toronto - Collingwood ride (PICS!!!)

I'm thinking about doing this in the next few weeks. Take a day off work mid-week and ride up there. I'll post up once I figure out a date to see if anyone wants to join me.

How much trail etc. is there on this ride? I've got Avon Distanzia's on my road wheels and then some dirt knobbies. Looks like there's a lot of pavement at least up until Orangeville. Would I be better to use the knobbies or the Avon's? I don't mind dirt roads with the Avons, but much more than that and they get kinda slippery ..

I would only be able to do it on the weekend. But any saturday or sunday, I am down.

I dont have a proper gps to loan the file unto and that is why I still havent done it.
