    100% Newbie

Just read the post explaining why a 600+ wouldn't be a good idea as a first ride. I was shopping for an R6 online, hit that post, read it, and now im not shopping any more until I learn a little more about riding in general. Any knowledge that you can pass along will help And i will be taking a couple courses either at RTI or Humber...any suggestions?

    hey - welcome!
    go get your M1 asap.
book the course - you're prob looking at end of june now. the longer you wait, the longer it will take.
start browsing the classifieds. look for a 400-650 twin - easiest bikes to learn and you won't get bored right away.
    where's the wind?!

    Re: 100% Newbie

bought my FIRST bike last week, shes a 2003 R6, never ridden a motorcycle before, got my M1 a couple weeks ago, i was going to wait until i completed the course which will take place this weekend, but i couldnt take having her sit in the garage anymore, so i took her out, i got the hang of it within a couple hours, ive been riding for three days now, if you know your limits, keep within them, you can start with litre bikes if you know the power that is in your hands

    good luck, ride safe
