Only one good Buell made, with a Rotax Engine.
    Flat trackers - Rotax engine.
    VR1000 - Porsche.
    V-Rod - Porsche.
All Harley motors made since at least the early 80's - Porsche.

So where are all these great bikes that perform that Harley makes?

My Vulcan 2000 was far better on fuel economy than my TL1000 was. So much for your guarantee.

I have ridden one. A sportster. I hated it. A 1100 Virago is a better bike.

VStar 1100 vs Softail Heritage = 10% better mileage (for the vstar) time and again. Considering 1100 vs 1540 (or something like that) and another 150 lbs i'd say bonus points to HD for gas mileage.

HD more money ... have you checked out all the plastic on non-HD brand cruisers ... metal shiny pieces cost money.

Never owned one, couldn't afford one when i bought my VStar. Drive with many who do. Love them all, beautiful bikes (well maybe not so much the XR1200 which i took out last week).
What's in a name? Well apparently nothing as i now ride a Suzuki er/um Honda ...
