Re: Globe and Mail Writer rides Marrakesh

Just got back from a tour of Morocco. Flew into Casablanca, drove to Marrakesh, climbed Jbel Toubkal (4167 M), Merzouga and the Erg Chebi Dunes, Dades Gorge, Chefchaouen, Sidi Bouknadel, and back to Casa. Unfortunately I was driving a Kia Picanto which is a litre car for two weeks. Lots of European Union plates on sport tourers and adventure bikes through the Atlas Mountains. Early May is a great time to visit Morocco. I woull love to go back again but next time I would look into renting a bike and doing it on two wheels.
