Links to kijiji in for sale posts

Can we make a rule you can't start a new thread in the for sale and just post a link to kijiji it drives me crazy! Gotta post the ad and pics on this site no kijiji links!!

Agree. If you want your ad on here, take the time to post it again....Right click, copy, paste....ain't that hard

People find it easier to do the pics and stuff... I agree some details should be posted... it's really the sellers loss as they will never get included in a search...

Because clicking a link to an expired kijiji ad is annoying and I dont want to click another link in the first place if you want to post it, post it dont post a link.

I almost prefer it, because when I am at work I can't see most pictures that are hosted on photobucket, flickr and the like... but I can see pics on Kijiji.

I don't mind having to click a link, but it IS very annoying when the ad expires and there's nothing there.
I say ban 'em.

What if you gave the option for the OP to delete/modify their own threads? Then when the offer expires, they could delete the thread.

That, or they could just remove the Kijiji link at that time from the original post, which is possible right now.

I think they can do that now. At least I see threads marked as deleted by the OPs in the "for sale" section.

Yah, but people do and will continue to forget to modify their ad when the kijiji ad expires. If they'd remember, we wouldn't be having this discussion.
