Yup, it's in GPX format. If you have a GPS and the proper connections, you can simply upload the map onto your GPS.

Disclosure: I have not actually tried running it yet, so I'm not 100% sure it's error free.

Chaos, do you know about this ride planner? Harley Davidson Ride Planner.
This is the one I use and it uploads automatically into most Garmin GPS.
Theres no GPX files or other complicated stuff to do. (unless you have an unusual model of GPS)
Very easy to use once you figure out how it works, and very accurate too.
Try it here. you need to register.

I use Garmin Mapsource. It uploads seemlessly onto my GPS. I'm creating the gpx files so that others can try the maps out too.

I'll try that tool too though. I find Mapsource a bit clunky. Perhaps that one is more user friendly.

    Thanks!

Here is a third route. This is a pretty simple one. Just a big loop.

    Re: Northern Ride Maps

My fourth and last for the next little while. I got the hang of using mapsource, so I am able to crank them out a little faster.

This is a bigger loop. Approx 660 km to/from Yonge/Sheppard.

    Highlights include:
    117
    Hwy 60 through Algonquin Park
    Peterson Rd.
    Elephant Lake Rd.
    503

In Gravenhurst, They are now finally paving Muskoka Beach Rd from Winewood to Jones Road, it should be done by the end of the week.

    Re: Northern Ride Maps

Is Muskoka Beach road in good condition from Bravenhurst to 118? I am going up there tomorrow.

Any update on 632 as of now? I know the last section at the North was all torn up last year. I would avoid it if it is not re-paved yet.

    Thanks

The pavement is done in Gravenhurst and the road to 118 is in pretty good shape.

    Re: Northern Ride Maps

Apologies for resurrecting an old post.

I did ran Route #3 I constructed. You can find it earlier in the thread.

It's basically a big loop of the 118/503/507. This route was about 500kms or so from my starting point.

The roads are all in good shape, and it's a fun loop. I would recommend this one.

    Bump

Is it possible to reupload the files or host them elsewhere? They're no longer at rapidshare

    Re: Northern Ride Maps

Here's a GPS file I made from all the routes I found here and elsewhere. There's a total of 80 routes. I used Garmin's City Navigator N.A. NT 2010.1 to build them... All routes are colour coded by region.

Let me know if you want me to upload it again after 60 days
