Anything for sale ie motorcycles, gear and such .. you can NOT post a response too.
You have to use the Private message feature to the seller of the item.
Click on their name, and you will see a few options come up. Private message is what your looking for ...

it's to prevent thread crapping. Another forum I browse allows replies and actually encourages thread crapping to keep people in line with their pricing. it can be a pain for the seller, but rather amusing at times for potential buyers/browsers
