Hey Everyone,
I am looking to write my M1, i live right downtown toronto with no vehicle. I was wondering if there is any place to write the M1 test that is accessable by the TTC.
All the places on the MTO website are all outside of the downtown core.
Any suggestion would be great thanks

I did mine there yesterday. My advice - go early morning when it opens between 8-9am cause otherwise you'll be there for minimum two hours at any other time.
I did my M1 test at the college park location on Thursday. I went at 1pm and finally wrote my test at 3pm. Go early in the day!!
what kind of questions were on the test. Specificly, which sections of motorcycle / driver handbooks should I focus on the most?
Safety (what to do, what not to do), things like proper tire track, spacing between you and other vehicles, riding in groups, riding in various conditions, avoiding obstacles, etc.
Read the M1 handbook several times. You don't have to memorize any long sections of it, most of it is common sense.
From the driver's handbook focus on the G1 restrictions...
I enjoy listening to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.
Questions that I remember are...
What to do when your bike wobbles
What side is the clutch on?
Where is the rear wheel brake?
Where is the front wheel brake?
What formation do you ride in when riding with others?
What do you do in foggy conditions?
What do you do if a car infront of you stops suddenly?
There is also a section that is all signs, so get yourself familiar with them. That was the only section that I thought I might fail but I passed. You have to answer 16 out of 20 questions correctly to pass each section.
Also learn the demerit points and license suspension questions for G1 as that will be on the M1 test too. There were atleast 6 Q's on that.
Does anybody have a passthewheel.com access they don't mind sharing? PM me please...
TIA
Here is M1 M2 book as seen in shoppers etc.

is there a time frame you have to wait if you fail before you can take another shot at it?

I walked in knowing nothing about the new G1 G2 restrictions, having been licensed for G before the current graduated licensing scheme. I got the Motorcycle handbook only to write my M1 and made most of my mistakes on the G1-G2 portion of the test.
It is possible, and of course people learn at different rates and in different ways.

I failed my M1 first try. Went back the next day and passed. Failing isn't a big deal.
