    Insurance for 17/18 year old.

He will be 18 this spring. This would be for something like a 90's GPZ 550 or 90's Ex 500. He has a couple years riding under his belt already and did take the course.

I called around to a few places initially and finally just put him under my insurance. Calling around was a frustrating experience. So anyone who can direct me to someone or any info would be wonderful....thanks

Contact a broker, since he has a few years of experience with his M1/M2 license, Jevco will take him with that bike, just be prepared to spend about $2600 or so to insure him.

    Hope this helps.

My sticky might be helpful for you, but I think Jevco is your best bet. Either way, it is going to be very expensive for someone his age.

You know, it would probably be a good experience for your son (presumably?) to shop around for his own insurance if he's interested in riding.

If you direct your attention to the insurance specialists section there are several agents/brokers who may be able to assist.

I made so many phone calls when I was initially looking for insurance for him and no one would even call me back with quotes. Or they would say not us by try.... and I would call the next place ,same story, like I said frustrating....
