Accidently left my plates on bike - SOLD

    Friends,
I sold my beloved R1 2 days ago, we are moving to another province. unfortunately I left my plates on the bike and the buyer loaded up and left..........I know....I know...that was stupid, but I had a lot on my mind etc. etc.
Now i have tried to email the buyer and call his phone, no response now for 2 days; question is what are my options now
I had the plate/stcker validated till 2011, i need to return the plate to MTO
do I report the plate as lost?
do I wait a few das and try to locate buyer?

    any suggestion/comment would be welcome!!

leave the buyer a message saying your reporting the plate lost.
then go and report it. or report it lost first

Sorry to hijack your thread, but you don't speak Hindi do you? After reading what you did, I saw your username... that really cracked me up (if you speak hindi, you'd be giggling at yourself too).

Back to topic, report about the plate to MTO asap and let them know that you sold the bike, so they can put a note on their system.
