Let it begin....
Hey to EVERYBODY,
Mainly the Stoney Creek, Hamilton and Surrounding Area...even grimsby .
This is my third season riding and third season posting this thread to get the old and the new riders in the area back out on the roads again.
Main meeting spots seem to be...
1)Centennial & Mud (Tim Hortons & Wendys)
2)Lower Centennial & Arrowsmith Rd (Tim Hortons & Pioneer - Across form Home Depot)
3)King St & Caroline (Tim Hortons South-West Corner)
4)King & Dundurn - south east corner of the lot - (Adjacent to McDonalds)
Hopefully we can all use this thread to organize group rides and/or meets.
Ride Safe!

EVEN Grimsby eh ?
I remember when we use to meet at the Beach all the time. All the guys I use to ride with do not meet up with these rides anymore. I'll feel like the new guy again.
Maybe I'll come out once or twice.
Anyone up for a cruise later today? nice weather compared to yesterday.
I am down for late after noon, because after that it gets quite cold.
King and Dundurn
i might be out an about in a couple hours.

Damn, thats a bad crash.
Just a heads up I don't intend on getting anywhere near knee dragging speeds through turns. Its more of a touristy speed through turns. there is still a bit of dirt/sand and such, not much, but enough I'm not sure where the limit is. and I'd rather not find out the hard way.
oils out, just need to put the bolts back in and hope I don't stripe the one for the filter cover.... like I did last year.
Just got back in...a wee bit nippy out, but not too bad.
I need a good tune up on my bike.
Any local suggestions?

Well, group ride turned into a solo ride. But it was still pleasant.
It also let me take a different path, unpaved, little wet, some big gravel. I'll just say I was quickly down to 20km/h and have some fear put back into me when it comes to gravel. I kept it up, but I was just shy of putting feet down to try and keep it up.
i saw you at the stop sign lol
gsxr ?
Same manufacturer, but I ride a gs500. Does a great job ducking through traffic though. But pretty sure that was me, some car wanted to give up their right of way to you at the 3 way stop.
haha yes i noticed
hamilton car drivers are nice like that
Morning all! So when's the next meet? I'm new to the Hammer so if someone can pick a nice "known" intersection for the next meet it'd be helpful. :P I haven't put the GPS back on the bike yet. lol
Cheers,
M.
the next time the weather is good, i'm sure a lot of us will be out and about
king and dundurn happens to be on of the the hot spots for meets
sound good .. will try to be out there and joint the group ... will follow this tread ...
