    Howdy folks, new here

Hi, I've been riding off and on for 34 years now with long stretches in between. My new ride is a 1982 Honda Hawk CB450T.
It needs a complete restoration and am in the midst of that at the moment.
I was very surprised to find that 98% of the parts are still available from Honda, and not very expensive. I picked it up for a song cause it hasn't been started up in 10-15 years and stored outside, I know it sounds like junk.
But what it really turned out to be is a low km sport bike in terrific original
condition. Everything is there with no modifications. I figure it will cost
$800-1000 in parts to get it back to almost new and hopefully on the road for April.
I'm interested to hear from anyone on good bike salvage places where I can find some parts.
    Thanks,
    Chris

Welcome aboard Chris. If you're in the West end, you got T.O. Cycle on Lakeshore/Browns Line. If you're out East, there's Ontario Cycle Salvage (only been there once, so I forget where exactly it is). These days I just ebay most of my used parts.

I'll buy the parts in Brampton Honda dealer.
They still have lots of parts for old bikes.
