    You can buy brand new re-engineered motors now.
    Sure helps if you have a burnt out old motor in a nice old school bike.
    Alot of custom builders like to use them too.

    Nice engines but really expensive! between 8-14000 dollars each for a panhead.
    I guess its worth it for a one of a kind show bike.

    that's a shovel, not a pan
    Most people use Evo engines as they are half the price.

    It's a Shovel top end on a Pan bottom, hence the monicker, Pan-Shovel.

    I was expecting someone to post a pic of a shovel/pan with one head of each.

    I'm working on converting a knuckle to 12V right now.

    Actual working headlights are a good thing

    there are slab side or "genny bottom" shovels that look the same. doesnt mean its a pan-shovel just cause it has a slab side
