I might have some grey hair, but have riden quite a few miles in that time.
I choose to wear a 1/2 helmet and enjoy the breeze on my face.
My days of racing are almost over, but my 1400 still pulls!
I wear black leather because I always have.
Most of my friends are named after reptiles.
My poor wife can't tell when I get a new tattoo without a guide map.
I am starting to understand "windshields" have a purpose.
I ride with all bikes and riders,
I enjoy the company of like minded people,
I'm always willing to help a brother or sister,
If it's got 2 wheels, you're a friend of mine
I am Aminal and I ride a cruiser!

Mental health who needs it?There is a reason you never see motorcycles infront of a therapists office.
Hi Aminal, welcome. My name is Morrissey and I too am a cruiser rider. Been riding my Virago 1100 since '98 and still enjoying it. I too have always worn black leather and probably will continue to. I don't have any tattoos and I have always loved my windshield!
I used to wear an open helmet until back in 2001 when I had to have a piece of a bug removed from BEHIND my eyeball in the emergency room! Yes I was wearing large sunglasses to "protect" my eyes at the time. Since then I have worn a full faced helmet and love it.
I believe what many have already stated, anyone on 2 (or 3) wheels is a friend of mine..... unless they turn out to be jerks....then I won't like them....but I'll still have respect for the fact that they ride.

My name is Pk! and I continue to ride cruisers. 6th bike since retiring in 2000
Like Morrissey, I got a bug in my face just above my right eye brow - Hwy 48 back when I had a Virago. I blame the bike! Anyway, it swelled up and I was on an antibiotic drip for a week! I'm diabetic, so they were worried about the infection continuing. My face blew up to twice it's size on the right side. It was a battery operated do-hickey and it worked!
I ride a cruiser and now wear both open and modular. When on a tour (often) I wear the modular and when cruising on 80 km roads I wear the open face with glasses. Of course I have a windshield and never rode without one, except a CB350 back in 1972. (Niagara Falls from Montreal)
Been to Tennessee every year since 2003 (except for 2009 too much rain) and love to take 3 and 4 days runs to the Adirondacks and Pennsylvania - anywhere along Hwy 6 and south to 120 - lots of great roads in those hills.
Coudersport, Port Allegany, Emporium and Ridgway are my favorite places to spend the night.
