I wouldn't recommend modifying it with different handwriting, if the MTO gives you an issue then you should get another one from seller, or do some arts n crafts..

They said I needed an appointment.
Would it be better if I wrote my name and signed it beside the sellers signature?

I just picked up a green plate today and the receipt did not have my signature on it (although the seller wrote "sold blah blah blah to blah blah blah for $xxx).
The MTO lady just asked me to sign anywhere at the bottom and then she took a photocopy of it and I got my green plate no problem.

I just got back with my green plate in hand! Through the entire process, I was never even asked for a bill of sale haha.
Thanks for all your help guys, now I just need to find somewhere to ride!

I put how much I paid for it in the affidavit... which in retrospect could've been anything :P
Can anyone suggest a good insurance company to insure the YZ125? I called John Duffy and they wanted something like $800. Statefarm just quoted me around $150, so that's pretty reasonable. I'm just wondering if there are any companies that I should try for a better rate.

You could try these guys, not sure if they are ready to roll yet or not:

Besides the link above, State Farm is the only place I found that didn't want to charge near $1000 for off road insurance.
I wonder if anyone actually holds a off road policy with these crooks?
