I might be able to give this a go this summer. . .weather dependant, though. I hate the bloody rain. You can call me a wuss, I just find it miserable.

I might be good for a portion of it - say 4 days.....go as far as the top of Superior then head back.

Do Manitolin one way then perhaps back via 533 over to the east.

I will be heading that way, leaving early on July 19th, on my way to Vancouver, with my son on the back of the bike. So I can be company on one part of the trip, but my schedule calls for me to be in Thunderbay at the end of the second day. I'm not sure if that is going to work though, considering all the stuff I want to stop and see along the way, between the Sault and T-bay.

Re: North Shore of Lake Superior

I will be doing the loop in the latter part of July with my daughter as pillion. Might be inclined to not do the bottom half but part of the deal is to meet up with my daughter's best friend who now lives in Wisconsin. I'm wondering if we might be able to cut out some of the boring bits with a ferry ride or the like. Suggestions?
    Don't want no pickle.
