    Wind Mobile

    Anybody take the leap yet?

Their pricing looks good. Wondering what their service is like?

    Great comparison chart :

My ex works for these guys. They've just been allowed to launch there service. Apparently there's a lot of restrictions in place to protect domestic carriers. She been telling me that there pricing is unreal especially when it comes to long distance plans. She says it would be dumb not to switch. Unfortunately I have a year left on my contract with telus and they won't buy out my contract.

Heres the link she sent me.

If you can switch now (i.e. not in a contact) I'd say do it. The service should be great as part of the condition in bringing in new incumbents, they require the ability to seamless roaming on the big three's networks.

The no-contract point looks great, and if you've been following Wind for the last few months, they really did listen to the feedback and ideas that customers had.

Only issue right now is number portability. They expect to get that fixed very soon, but I suggest reading their FAQ in the meantime. I'm switching in May along with my family. http://www.windmobile.ca/support/faq...-numbers-wind/

They have a very small local zone from what I've read. Anyone outside of the Toronto core is going to be roaming like crazy.

IMHO Koodo has the best deals out there with no contract.
