Does anyone know why the Dunlop KR106 front slicks I have keep going flat on me, after a few weeks of storage?
Its happened twice now, and there are no leaks in the valve, rim, or tire that I can see....How are they deflating themselfs over time?
Not that it matters just curious, cause this is the 2nd time I noticed the front is totally flat after trying to move my track bike after not being moved for a while...

i once seen a slick blowing "small soap bubbles" through the rubber in the contact patch area after being mounted. hmmmm. interesting, and had me monitoring tire pressures more closely. i don't remember the manufacturer or tire model other than it was a slick.

i remember crevier bikes back in 1991 new tires flat the next morning.
dunlops going flat in nothing new.they loose there air tru the sidewall.
wow, I guess I won't be trying a dunlop slick after reading this thread.
They dont drop enough to notice quick enough to matter when on the track. Used them for years with no issues. Just have to check them before you go out (which you should anyway). Biggest PIA is when rolling the bike around the shop a few weeks later and the damn tires are flat.
