    my bike got covered in snow - no cover. is it okay ?

    I woke up to my bike being covered in snow. from front to rear.

    i just put a heavy duty cover over it. is my bike okay with a SS being snowed on?

    i am bringing the bike in tonight. winterizing after work

    It'll be just fine. Look at this guy's bike. 40 winters and still running:



    Joking aside, make sure it's dry before you put the cover on next time.

    as long as you are running the proper antifreeze (if its water cooled) you will be fine.

    every time I see a bike with snow on it, it makes me want to cry

    Last year there was a guy a few minutes drive from my place that left his cruiser out side all winter long no cover, It made me want to cry

    lmao.... and i thought i was the only one... for the past few months, coming down to work there was a viffer on gerrard that seemed abandoned... or maybe the guy was really precise in parking it every time in the right spot ...

    my friend did the same thing....it's fine just make sure you dry it and run it. also check to see if your levers are frozen

    My next door neighbour owns some late '80's CBR Hurricane. The bike has been sitting in the same spot on the driveway (almost certainly not winterized) since probably August. And the house does have a garage. It's going to be funny trying to watch him start it in a few months.
