I will try and dig up more pics from before any mods but I can't even begin to look for em so...

Quick History:

Bike already had an R6 subframe/tail section /seat mod.
Couldn't stand the big rear end. (save ur comments...)

Girlfriend was ridin it and I lent it to her brother after months of buggin to ride it.

How she looked before a rough season.....



I had a "mishap......." with her a did her right side a bit.
No biggie.
Fixed everthing back to par with the excepton of painting / re installing mids & lowers, especially with the girlfriend using it to learn and I was using her a s my B ride / screwin around bike..

Put a sprocket kit on it and off we go...


NOTE : This was on a very large piece of private property years ago so....







Anyways....

The G.F.'s brother always bugged the crap outta me to let him ride one of my bikes..
After months, Yes, I gave in.....
I warned him about the sprockets and what it was like many, many times...





AND yes.... 3 whole minutes and 1.5 blocks later.....




Hmmmmm
Oil seems to be missing.....



The powder coated bits were on it for a whole day !!!



Anyways...
She has been in progress for a while and currently is a bare frame waiting to be pretty again.

Here's the mock up of her new "look".

Gonna be different colours though.

So the bike is torn down and the frame, swingarm etc.
are being prepped for powdercoat.



You might notice the the tail has been modded and fitted already for an 03 R6 tail.

Closer look:



It is a litttle knarnly lookin cause I basically guessed all my dimesions etc and didn't even have all the pieces for the tail so I made due with what I had on hand for information / materials and did ALOT of guessing.
I was the first one I know of to do this 03 Tail conversion on an FZR that I know of. A BUNCH of 02 style with subframes coversion, but no one used the FZR subframe and modded it like this.

The dimesions were so close that it was almost a breeze and save $300 plus aluminum welding so...

I spent more time collecting seats etc than it took to do it.




The swingarm is a bist rusty because I got pulled away with real work....
Damn paying customers...

And a bit of surface rust.



I have new bearings for the neck and swingarm so I'm leavin these in until powdercoat masking happens....

I already added mount points for the swingarm spools...
That really used to tick me off that it didn't have em....
