I enjoy listening to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.
This is "tearing it up" IMO

I dont agree with what these guys are doing in the video but all you guys talking about their lack of ability to ride and calling them squids..........I bet you all did the exact same thing when you started riding. How many of you guys first tried to push lean angles on a track rather than the DVP ramps?
Too many people on here forgot where they came from and how they got a start. If you truly think another rider can improve his skills or take that stuff somewhere else try giving him suggestions to get better or keep your mouth shut. Too many superstars on here who like looking down on others. Unless you are Rossi be humble and shut up.......there is always a better rider out there than you.
Ride smart.... live to ride another day
I was worried i was going to watch a noob wadding it into a guardrail. But no worries, they were'nt going fast enough to get anywhere near traction limits.I just hope they find the track before they learn more.Or learn the hard way.At the speeds they were going i could have had fun with them on the goldwing and my helmet cam.Maybe even get in close on the license plates too.
But on the positive side..not a bad vid.

FYI it's not just speed that brings us closer to the limit of traction but smoothness as well. If you're not buttery smooth with the clutch, throttle, brakes and steering then you can lose it even at moderate lean angles.
It deserves to be said because I so often hear people tell others to just lean the bike more and trust the tires, which totally ignores the human element of the grip equation.
"Tearing it up" ..... lol
alright, alright - compared to those greek crazies this is a walk in the park. i wouldve pushed it over more but the weather wasnt warm enough for me to have confidence in the traction equation. there a few ramps that didnt make it to the video (garbled from engine vibes) that we pushed it further past i think ill save the real leaning for my first trackdays next season. (this was my first riding summer - started last fall).
the squiding isnt really that its just ff'd - pretty much just the ramps are in real time.
thanks for comments i had fun with this.
"Tearing up" ain't what it was when I were a nipper.

This thread should be renamed to "West end cramping vid". Sorry, couldn't resist

You guys are mean.
Nice edit, but you could use some better imaging technology and technique.

too much sexy.

Be careful on those concrete ramps like the Buhamthorpe West onto 427 south or Dundas east onto 427 north ramps in the video. Concrete has less traction than asphalt and I often get a little tire slide going even at fairly moderate speeds on those ramps.

I think the main issue everyone has is the title, and making this vid seem much more interesting than it really was. It's great that your out and enjoying the sport, but to save yourself from future flaming DONT post a vid that is basically a commute for more experienced riders and call it " tearing up " or ANYTHING else that would imply a vid like the greek guy. just my 0.02
Ohh yeah LOSE THE PLATE !!
