No brakes no air in the front tire.... still finished an AMA race in the top 10. BALLZ!!!!
Yates really seems to have come around in the personality department after kicking that lapped rider a few years ago and doing the "starfish" in the middle of the track at Mid-Ohio forcing them to Red Flag the race (2 separate incidents). That was a low point for him for sure.... his hillybillyness seems to have improved greatly.

I think aaron yates was always under rated. He's a great rider to watch - especially when he's running hot and sliding both wheels..... and savin it....

Yates is old school. Before the big time he and his dad built all his bikes when he raced with us lowly sorts in WERA. Yates is a talented tuner and has a leg up on most in the AMA paddock as he completely understands the mechanics of his bike allowing him to press on when most would be finished.
I think they "mopped up" all the vids from youtube where he kicked Fania. There are a few, but thru the fence at weird angles. Not like the clear ones thatwere floating around a few yrs ago...on youtube at least,LOL
I forgot what an idiot he made himself look like in this video, till I just watched it again now. Telented rider, but he forgot that once you are in the limelight, never let them see you at your worst, cuz you'll never live it down. That's what everyone remembers. The worst you ever were.
