*Hazard* Jones avenue bicycle lane

earlier today I was heading southbound on Jones avenue from Danforth ave and somewhere along the way well actually the bike lanes north and south both have sand on it, it's just that I was heading back home and like some pedestrian decided to just pop out from the parked cars and run across (on my side) so I had virtually no time to swerve as there was traffic (cars) beside me and parked cars to the left of me so I ended up lowsiding my bicycle due to sand which caused me to instantly loose balan ce upon touching my brakes thus resulting in scratched knee, elbows and now resulting in bleeding leg and elbow as I was going like 35km+ at the time.

so the lesson here is always wear full motorcycle gear even on a bicycle!
