    2010 SOAR Schedule

Go to www.SOARacing.ca for all the news (and there is alot) but here is our 2010 schedule. With the possible addition of a dash for cash at a brand new facility TBA. This would be non points paying but will have a huge purse. It depends on the new track getting it together in time for the 2010 series.

*Other BIG news is there is $73,700 in SOAR Purse up for grabs in the series. SOAR will be paying every class at every round. This is over and above manufacturers and tire contingency making SOAR the richest Ontario race series.

    All events at TMP

    Round #1 May 7-9
    Round #2 June 11-13 (W/Endurance) Reverse Direction
    Round #3 July 9-11 (W/Endurance)
    Round #4 Aug 6-8 ( Reverse Direction)
    Round #5 Sept 10-12 (W/Endurance)
    Round #6 Oct 15-17 (W/Endurance)

    * details to follow regarding qualifying

What Ken meant to say was go to www.soaracing.ca in the next day or 2 for our updated news section....and there's lots of it

The website will be updated very soon. But in the mean time...4 endurance rounds!!!! Awesome! Not to mention $$ up for grabs.

    stay tuned for more info!

Will there be a purse for the Endurance racing as well or just the sprint racing?

Both there will be a minimum grid size to qualify for purse. If riders support SOAR we support the riders.
There is no reason that if riders support us to the point of a profit that we cant give back to the riders.
We want full grids in every class and if cash helps sweeten the pot then great.
The purse will be 1-3 place and a wildcard. The wildcard will be a random finish position that will get the same purse as 1st place in the form of race credit to be used on future entry. The 1-3 are cash.
This gives the opportunity for everyone to hopefully make a few bucks.

Since that track was built,, I've been saying it would be better run in the other direction. Cool!

Im on the fence about that, Id really need to try it for myself....Cause I suck most on all 4 of the lefts, but I think thats cause they are the most technical turns on the track for me besides the last one. And I just slow down too much to take them....So Im wondering if I just suck at going left, and if flipping the direction would lead to me having to do more lefts which I suck at...LOL
