It's a RESET in the GTA. I am sure today's rain took it all away.

I'm just as sure next week the roads will all be salted again. I'd sure like to know why they are doing this when there isn't any indication of precicpation.

They have to use up the allocated budget otherwise funding resources drop for the forthcoming year? They also have full-time city workers who are looking for something to do. Sounds about right.

At least the roads will be nice and clean for this coming weekend.

    507 in great shape1

For what it's worth:I had a rare Saturday off so I went up to visit my mom in Wilberforce today. Since it's only a couple of hours and the weather seemed nice I took the bike. Ended up rainign on and off but no snow.

507 is in great shape. Only one little patch of sand between tire tracks on the northbound lane just before the border for Haliburton Township.

Thanks for the heads up. Salt mixed with the wet roads makes for a nasty combination for those still riding.

Caledon roads salted and damp. Very slippery. Today's short ride wraps up the year for me, I'm done.

Looks like same for me. I put some stabilizer in the tank and went for a spin around town. There's the occasional pile of salt at some intersections where it spilled out of the truck. And sand all over the town roads.

Saw someone on the DVP yesterday on an old Shadow.
Poor thing was covered in salt.
