Anyone available and want to help on Sunday afternoon?

Hey guys, need a BIG, BIG hand here.

The St.Mike's Majors have offered to help us fundraise for the 2010 RFS. They gave me a date to sell 50/50 tickets at the arena in March but have just offered Sunday October 11th to us as well when another charity backed out.

Is anyone available to help us out on Sunday afternoon? That is Thanksgiving Sunday. We will need about 10 or so 50/50 ticket sellers stationed in and around the arena for before the game and during the 1st and 2nd intermissions.

If you can help out we would need you there at least an hour before the game.

Last year this raised some decent cash for RFS so please if you can - come out for a couple hours Sunday and help out.

Yeah I now know why the other charity backed out!

I have about half a dozen committed but still looking for a few more. I'm now recruiting the girls I ride with on the street and the guys off my football team. Plus anyone else that looks remotely interested.

Game time is 2 pm but we will need you there by 1 or so. We are allowed to sell before the game and during the 1st and 2nd intermissions.

A hockey game usually takes about 3 hours so we would be out of there by 5 or so. I am not doing a turkey on Sunday so I have nowhere to rush off to.

Folks:

Biggest demand will be earlier - Doors (1:00PM) to about to second Intermission (+/- 3:45) . You could easily be out of here before 4PM and probably earlier if needed.

We are actually looking in pretty good shape.

I have 4 committed, 3 most likelys and 5 are still checking. Not bad at all for the short notice and holiday weekend.

Friday March 12 (evening) is the other date for those of you who were asking. That is 6 months away so will start another thread when we ask for more help. Thanks for offering though and we completely understand about the family commitments this weekend.
