I use the Supertechs for storage on the ST and FZ6, Riding is done on Purolators 14610 and 14612's respectively... however, if I'm going on a long haul (across country) I'm putting on a Mobil1 MI-110. The Mobils while they don't have any 'better' filtering capability then the Purolators, I've read somewhere (forgot where) that the Mobils have a 10 or 15% thicker external casing, this might not sound like alot, but its just peace of mind I have something thicker to guard against possible punctures on a long trip in the middle of no where...

Found this on the net... Asking how much shipping might be to Toronto.

For anyone interested this was the response:

Shipping is 10$ for all you can buy on the web site. 1 or 100 items is the same price.

From the Motovan Catalogue PG 629

The highlighted filters are all the same fitment.
If your bikes uses a K&N 204 filter... these filters will fit.

Prices are in CAD$, and are available from just about ANY bike shop.

here is the list of bikes these filters will fit - http://www.knfilters.com/search/appl...px?Prod=KN-204

STOP spending $20 on oil filters.

    For everyones sake..
here is a colour coded cross reference table (from the Motovan catalogue).

If you know the K&N number of your filter, you can cross reference the HiFlo or Emgo filter that matches.

Stop wasting money on those expensive K&N's
Hi-Flo, and Emgo are both just as good IMO.

I colour coded the most common ones. My Suzuki uses the "PINK" one, (KN138 ), so naturally I buy the $6.99 Emgo filters.

I suppose I should add, the prices are subject to change I suppose, but this table is from the 2009 updated catalogue.

When you say "Champion Elements" does that have anything to do with Champion Brand filters? I noticed in a post near the bottom of the page Champion filters got the thumbs up, but I was just asking because I went to a parts guy by my house lastweek and ordered some oil filters for my GSXR 600 and when I picked them up this week they were Champion K301 oil filters, I had thought they would just be OEM Suzuki ones, but they were these Champions. I just wanted to be sure they are a good choice to use.

It's not recomended by calsci based on their comparative tests of several filter brands.
It's only not recommended cause there are proven better, cheaper, more widely available options.

    See bold. in quote below.

Most modern motorcycles use the filter I call type [5], so this is the filter where I give you the most options. Personally, I always use Purolator Pure One PL14610s, which, along with the Mobil-1 M1-110 is clearly the best oil filter available. A small step down are the Bosch and SuperTech filters. These filters all have advanced filter media which is clearly superior to anything else on the market. The SuperTech filters, at $2 each, are a real steal. The AMSOil filters also have the advanced media, but they only have a very few square inches of it. Because of my fear that these can become clogged up too easily, I cannot recommend them. The remaining filters all have "normal" media, and have significantly poorer performance in capturing particles. I recommend you avoid Fram and Pennzoil filters.

Get a Honda filter. If KN or other junk fail, they owe you the cost of a filter, if a Honda filer fails they owe you an engine.

How much more does a Honda filter cost?

Youd have a hard time proving engine failure was caused by the filter.

if you use some cheap brand of tire, and it blows out causing you to dump your bike, do you hold the tire company liable?

If it was the oem equipped tire, would Honda owe you a new bike?

I have the same question too...

What are their qualities in terms of filtration and structure-wise?
