I have an Arai shaped head so that gets my answer.

agreed, shoei was the most comfortable fit for me, so it holds my vote.

i dont think there is a universal "best" helmet, the helmet that performs "best" for you is the one that fits your head most comfortably.

OGK ftw! But missing from your poll list so I'll go with my current helment mfg, Arai (because they make the only helmet that fits my melon).

i dont get these helmet polls because most people have only used a couple brands of helmets. like me i have only used 2 brands because i hated the first and moved to the next one and like it very much but to say its the best without trying any other great helmets on is kind of bias.

You can spend $10,000 on a helmet and if it doesnt fit properly, it is shyte.

generally speaking, SNELL/DOT or ECE rated, and as long as it fits properly, then it is the best helmet.

My experience has OGK and Shoei at the top of the list. My HJC's were really good, but showed wear quicker.
