I found an add for a WR450F 2006 the guy says the bike has the airbox uncorked, and replaced the head gasket...replaced head gasket, do you think that the bike is running way too hot? or is this common.

Re head gasket: I didn't guy before me did it was stalling
No idea what that means.Yamahas are known for their reliability with their valves so you should be ok if it starts easy,if you dont know about 4stroke MX bikes take someone who does. You take your chances buying any used 4stroke unless you know the previous owner and how much maintenance they did.The ad does not say how many hours are on the bike or how many miles if it has an odometor, also does he have onroad ownership or offroad?
Uncorked usually means he removed the backfire screen at the air filter or some polution stuff, maybe even the grey wire mod if they have that on a 450f.These mods should have no effect on a head gasket. That is a pretty good price for a 2006 might get the bike for less than 3 grand.
