Police probe traffic fatality in Stoney Creek
Hamilton police’s collision reconstruction unit is investigating the city’s second traffic fatality to occur on Good Friday.
Police would only say a person died in a single-vehicle collision on Barton Street east of McNeilly Road in Stoney Creek during the late afternoon.
Staff Sergeant Scott Balinson would not confirm the person’s age or gender.
Neighbours say it was a motorcyclist who died.
A group of people who arrived on the scene in cars were visibly upset and spoke to police, but did not want to comment.
The Hamilton police forensics unit was on scene shortly after the crash.

There's a little bit of info halfway through this article. Still notifying next of kin. Rip, too young.
R.I.P. rider.
So the word is that the from the time the guy first borrowed the bike to the time he crashed was a span of 20 minutes. Didn't secure his helmet on properly either. The pole wasn't kind to him either.
Tragic and totally preventable.

So sad. Hope I don't know the guy. RIP
This is where it happened, posted 60KM, gravel on road shoulders, but a straight road with no hills.
