Had that happen once, I thought it made more sense to go on the outside, away from the wheel. Buddy at the track noticed it and I switched it back.
His reason was so it doesn't get caught by another bike or a tree or whatever. Made sense to me, since he's also my dealer lol.
Went to XTown in Mirabel today. FREAKING COLD. First time offroad in literally 25 years, I choose a motocross track in freezing weather. What could go wrong?

As it turns out, nothing. Other than getting hit from behind by a young guy on a KX 250F when I had to avoid another bike in front of me through the rythm section. No harm, no foul... although he was out for two laps picking his bike up and trying to get air back into his lungs after catching the bars in the chest. lol
Great time... bring on spring and summer tracks.
At least you're riding! My bike right now is nothing more than a motor inside a frame.
Next month it will be back together and ready to run with a bunch of new parts... About $2000 worth. Ouch.
I have a klx250sf, admittedly a different sort of bike, but they front brake hose is routed on the front like yours was.
Hose goes on the inside for sure.

Yours is also on the wrong side, brake line goes on inside of fork.
