Can't figure out what happened at 1:50. Hit from behind?
Re: IrnieRacing.com 2010 Greatest Hits Video
Nope.. I lost the rear-end. Track was very cold for Seattle Rd.1, and it started to rain ever so slightly on the backside.
This was my fastest and scariest crash. 130+kmph. Took me half a year to get back up to speed. Crashing can really affect corner speed confidence.

Yeah, I crashed around that speed on Calabogie in September. Shoulder still aches a bit sometimes, but no real harm done. Sapped a bunch of corner speed outta me for a while, too. Fun videos to watch, Marcel.

Irnie's first Pro Win
"Watching Marcel Irnie’s motorcycle racing career evolve was frustrating at times. He showed incredible speed, but his progress was really starting to be affected but under-powered and unreliable machinery. That all changed a few weeks back when sponsor Redline Motorsports gave him the opportunity to race a splendidly prepared Honda CBR1000RR. An Oregon state race would be Irnie’s first ride on a 1000cc machine and his first crack at the highly competitive Formula Ultra class. As you’ll see in the video, competitive machinery can make a world of difference!"
