Talk to jimmy at velocity. He should be able to point you in the right direction. or just send it to john bickle .
Talk to Velocity - you bought it from them, they should be able to repair it, or at the very least, give you a name that can repair it for you.
I emailed...and got this reply
"I don’t know what I can do. Zipper and Velcro fall under wear and tear. What I could offer is a $50 credit towards another product (zipper replacement will cost about that much). We don’t deal with the original factory that we did the group buy with as we decided to do more high end products now. Let me know if this works for you."
Where is John Bickle located?
Jimmy should not be pointing him in the right direction. What Jimmy should be doing is taking in that jacket and sending it out for repairs. The jacket was purchased at Velocity and it should be resolved at Velocity; that's what customer service is about.
I know of four friends that purchased during group buy, used for one season and all their zippers broke... and don't tell me it's wear and tear because it obviously is not, it's a QA issue. One of the jackets is black... well, now it's a light black; the colour is fading already after one season.
The fact that the jacket is bad quality is one thing... how you deal with the problem can either save future business or lose it.
The zipper on my velocity jacket only lasted about three month's !!! Still haven't had it fixed yet, so ujelly let me know where you get yours fixed and the cost !!!
John Bickle is your best bet. He is in Courtice.

I took mine to Rider's Choice for the main zipper. Took them a month, which ****** me off, but in the end John delivered it to my house, fixed both the zipper and broken pulltab on my pocket zipper(didn't ask them to), did it all for $20, and gave me a bag of GoPro mounts for free for my trouble.
The Sandalman, they repair anything leather, from a sofa to sports equipment, located on Davenport Rd. near Ossington. www.sandalman.com
So it is a known fact that the zippers on Velocity aren't the greatest for their suits...thanks for clearing it up!
Thanks...i'll be heading there sometime next week :) will keep you posted. Sort of upsetting about how Jimmy praised how high quality his suits are and yet this crap had to happen. Color of my suit is fading already as well -.-" Should have bought a Dainese suit instead!
My 10 year old, no name, ebay, leather jacket has had two zippers break and the colour of the leather hasn't faded much. It's unfortunate to hear that the Velocity suit seems to be lacking in quality.
The tailor in Sheridan Mall also sewed a 360 zipper onto my leather pants and jacket, using material I supplied but he recommended, so I can completely attach the jacket to the pants. The cost was $60 for the zipper and his time, plus $10 for the stretchy material. Turn around time was two or three days.
No problem. He's located beside the library at the lower level at the east side (entrance closest to jane st) of the mall near the escalator.
I had to have my velocity jacket repairs elsewhere as well. Although jimmy offered to pay for it, and did.

Awesome service, got mine done in 3 days....
In my case john bickle could not help, and also never got back to me with a quote after i visited him at the track....
but i know john is usually awesome at the track.
I wasn't too bothered about repairing the zipper to be honest. For the mileage I have put on the suit (Roughly 30,000km) I expected wear and tear. Mine hasn't faded. Most importantly it saved my *** in a highside(No injuries) and didn't rip a seam or wear through. I still wear it.
For a suit that was $575 tax in, I didn't expect Dainese quality, but I have been more than happy with it.
Also, I would recommend taking it to a motorcycle leather repair specialist like Bickle as opposed to any old seamstress.
All four zippers on my Daytona boots broke and both leg zippers on my Dainese riding pants did as well, so don't be super-quick to condemn anyone for zippers.
Amazing fact--zippers were only perfected in the early 20th century and their use was limited until AFTER WW2. What annoys me is how small they tend to be. I'm wearing heavy gloves--give me big, tough zippers with big tabs not made out of the cheapest pot metal possible.
Welcome to the Velocity Zipper Club.
Both my arm zipper tabs are broken...been using a paper clip to zip them up...the paperclip been holding up better then those tabs (*faceplam*)
Sent email to Jimmy about it...told me he changed suppliers and won't be happening again...
