tell me about stands

have spools so rear is no problem
but the front??
tried a freinds but as one fork has a pinch bolt that leg is a little longer.
His stand had pins that go in the holes in the bottom of the forks.
so on the leg without the pinch bold the pin did not reach the hole.
Have seen stands with cone bolts on top where you can just show more threads to make up the difference.
Also have seen ones with pads that can be fflipped to make up the difference.

Any one have a problem with this one pinch bolt?
