Arrrg...ok..I looked at the Rides.Hookup forums...and I had to scroll through the first 5 or 6 posts to find a ride that isn't a regional group or weekly ride. That has always been my problem with these long *** threads...they are always at the top...and other posted rides get bumped down. So...I'm going to create a sub forum... for Weekly Rides and Regional Rides.... You can have your thread back....you win...blah blah....
Thanks Paul, i know it is tuff to admit defeat but you have done the right thing and we are all happier now because of it
and to think i was just starting to get used to the social group...
I tried to help you here Paul and make this Social Group thing work. It was way more difficult to find rides, there is no 'quote' option in the Social Group threads so if I posted a ride in the main chat thread, it would be buried quickly, but in 'Rides and Hookups' people quoted the ride posting often to respond to whether they were coming or not, and it kept the next ride posted where it could be easily seen. I think the sub group for Regional Rides is a great idea. We even had two or three people that don't ride with us post a thread in 'Rides and Hookups' looking for or trying to organize rides in the KW/Guelph area because they couldn't find us anymore.
