The point of this is very simple- Paul the administrator of this web-site is unhappy because we are basically taking up too much space on the Rides section. He says that there's no problem posting rides in the Rides thread but there are alot of posts afterwards that deal with extraneous matters ie nothing related to rides. Therefore, he has asked our thread and a couple of others to start a social group where photos, small talk etc can be posted. That way the Rides section won't be cluttered with pages of "other" material (see Scarborough rides thread and you will get the point). I don't necessarily agree with Paul but it his web-site and he makes the rules. Louis
